First thing to do is measure the fake eye lashes to your natural lashes to compare the size. If the fake ones extend beyond your real lashes, trim them off with cosmetic scissors to be proportionate. When done, you can start applying the glue to a tooth pick. Using a tooth pick will help you control the amount of glue you put on the lash. Run the tooth pick along the edge and make sure that you apply the glue evenly. Wait for the glue to turn transparent before applying it to your eyes. With a pair of tweezers, line up the fake eye lashes with your natural ones. Gently press against your eye lids until you feel it has stuck on. Using your fingers, press the corners of the fake eye lashes for a few seconds to make sure they’re on pretty solid. If your using plain eye lashes, apply a coat of mascara to make them seem more natural but if you prefer colored ones, then there’s no need.
